A genuine vintage Namji doll from Cameroon, carved from a single block of African rosewood and dressed in multicolored beads sometimes embellished with cowrie shells coins, metal and/or leather.
Traditionally these are considered a fertility doll given to a bride at her wedding and carried as a good-luck charm, then kept on the family altar or passed down to her daughter once she had a child.
