These natural birds are a fair trade product handmade in Kenya. They are handcarved out of soft soapstone, sanded until smooth, and then polished. Since they show the natural colors of the stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the design. Consider pairing with a peace dove of kisii: "a bird in the hand."
