These natural candleholder vases are a fair trade product handcarved out of kisii stone and then sanded until smooth in Kenya. Each feature an inner ledge to hold standard taper candles (the opening is approximately ⅞ inches wide). If the taper candle fit is too snug, try trimming up to 1 inch off the bottom of the candle for a better fit. These are also designed to hold dried flowers or botanicals as the center hole drops down within 1 inch of the base. In this instance, they are for decorative use only--they're not intended to hold water.
Since these vases show the natural colors of the stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the vases.
All vases are approximately 2 inches wide. The large vase stands 6.5 inches tall. The medium vase stands 5.5 inches tall. The small vase stands 5 inches tall.
